Sweatshirts

Sweatshirts are ideal for workwear and leisurewear. They come in two major categories, Raglan and Set-in-sleeve. Raglan means that the sleeve join the body of the sweatshirt in an inverted V -shape which goes all the way up to the neck of the garment. Set-in-sleeve is the more conventional arrangement that you will find in t-shirts or polo shirts. The sleeves are attached to the main body of the sweatshirt by armholes that are run from the shoulder to the armpit.

Sweatshirts are usually made from a poly/cotton mix fabric which means they are hardwearing, easy to wash and usually do not need ironing. They have good thermal qualities and are often used at sporting events as an after activity, extra layer to keep the body temperate up after exercise. This same thermal quality makes them very popular as workwear particularly in the winter months.
